This is a layout I did for the store, featuring the new Barnyard line by Reminisce:

One more birthday layout.

I have to say, this would be my favorite layout if not for the journaling. I am not a journaler, I hate journaling but felt that I really should for my daughter's first birthday pages. Anyway, here it is, let me know what you think......

Down Memory Lane Thrift Sale

So, I spent the day at Down Memory Lane, where I work, at our first thrift sale. We had a great turnout and I actually left the store with money in hand. As I sold some of my stuff and made room on my table I starting scrapping. I had a great time hanging out with some of our loyal customers and Joanne. I will post the layout that I finished (yes, just one in the 6 hours I was there!). The more that I scrap the more that I love it! I was also able to host a Mom's Night Scrap on Thursday night with some women from my Mom's Club and I will also post that layout.

So, I finally took some pictures of my layouts. I am absolutely no expert and not really even that great of a scrapbooker, but I do love it and wanted to share some of my favorites. I do apologize for some of the pictures, I just couldn't get some of them to be very clear.

I guess I couldn't get them to upload, either. I will try again......

Feeling scrappy....

I had a great day at work today designing two layouts to sell as kits in the store where I work. I had every intention of coming home and continuing with my scrappiness, but got distracted with other necessary household duties, my 19 month old still can't take care of herself, go figure! After she went to bed, I then proceeded to update my Design Studio and peruse scrapping and card making blogs. So, here I sit watching Law & Order:SVU and writing on my blog that I am sure noone is reading. LOL
I hope to post pictures of some of my creations soon.

New to this......

So, I just finally got my own blog. I'm not sure what I am going to blog about, but my husband says that I always have something to say!

I guess I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Allison. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dave, since April 22, 2006. We had our amazing daughter, Olivia, January 30, 2008. She is the light of our lives. 

I work at Down Memory Lane, a scrapbook store in Eau Claire, WI. I absolutely love my job and genuinely look forward to going every day. I am a sales associate and I also teach classes. I am constantly on the hunt for new ideas, so please feel free to share those with me!
